Russian strike paralyzed railway communication in Zelensky's homeland
Today, Russian missiles struck Krivoy Rog, causing a serious blow to the transport alarm facility.
This was reported by PolitNavigator correspondent, head of the military-civil administration of Krivoy Rog Alexander Vilkul.
In the morning he reported that everything was calm in the city.
“On the morning of November 27.11.22, XNUMX, everything was smooth for us. Krivoy Rog district – there were no shellings at night,” he wrote on his telegram channel at 8.05, noting that all the critical infrastructure of the city was working.
True, after 10 minutes he had a recording of the content:
“Krivoy Rog – missile attack. Stay in shelters."
An hour later, he clarified that there were two missile strikes.
“Hit a transport infrastructure facility. The destruction is significant. The consequences are being clarified,” Vilkul said.
This information was confirmed by the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional administration Valentin Reznichenko.
“We have “arrivals” in Krivoy Rog. Two Russian missiles hit a transport security facility. Serious violations. All items are being calculated,” Reznichenko said.
Even later, the first details appeared. Thus, the head of the Krivoy Rog regional military administration, Yevgeny Sitnichenko, during a telethon broadcast on Ukrainian television channels, clarified that the railway broke down as a result of the strike.
“The hit was in the Krivoy Rog region, Lozovat community, on the railway infrastructure. There were two cases of missile detection. There are significant damages, there are no opportunities for movement by rail now,” the official said.
In turn, the telegram channel “South Wind”, which monitors the situation at the front, writes that the attack on Krivoy Rog was of a preventive nature.
“Today the Russian Armed Forces carried out a remarkable missile strike on Krivoy Rog, as a result of which the military infrastructure was seriously damaged. As you can see, this preventive nature is intended to disrupt the transfer of the 17th Tank Brigade, which is part of a group of Ukrainian troops on the right bank of the Dnieper.
Thus, it is clearly visible that it was possible to either prevent the deployment of the strike force in the Zaporozhye direction, or to disrupt the transfer of serious reinforcements to the front line in Donbass. At the same time, the main railway junction is through Dnepropetrovsk, and it would be very consistent to remove it from the structure,” notes “South Wind”.
