A Russian journalist told how Lukashenko’s riot police tortured and humiliated people
During the days of the dispersal of opposition rallies, the Belarusian riot police seized random passers-by and journalists, after which they brutally tortured and humiliated the detainees, including disabled people and women. Russian journalist Anton Lyadov spoke about the details of the experience in an interview with TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
According to him, doctors tried to take some of them away, but employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs obscenely threatened the doctors that now they too would end up in dungeons.
The reporter noted that he had previously been detained during his journalistic work. However, I have never experienced such humiliation anywhere, including in authoritarian China.
“This is not an excess of the performer. This is a system of humiliation and beating,” Soloviev stated.
