Russian fishermen in the Sea of Azov were taken under guard by border guards
Crimean fishermen going out to fish in the Sea of Azov are protected by the Border Service of the FSB of Russia.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, sailors will be able to go to sea freely without fear of repeating the scenario with the detention of the ship and crew by Ukrainian border guards.
“They will be able to come out, there is no doubt. In this case, we synchronized actions with the Border Service of the Russian Federation and the Black Sea Fleet. Measures will be taken to protect our fishermen in the area where they will be engaged in catching biological resources. I am sure that the situation will not happen again,” Aksenov said.
