As reported by the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council, at one o'clock in the afternoon, the border patrol on the direction Millerovo (Russian Federation) - Blagoveshchenka (Lugansk region, Ukraine) recorded the flight of up to 3 km over the territory of Ukraine of two military Russian Mi-24 helicopters.
“In addition, the Russian military continues to fire at border units. So, on Saturday, August 2, at noon, from the Russian settlement of Seleznev, located 1,5 km from the border line, border guards of the Donetsk detachment recorded 2 artillery shots on the territory of Ukraine,” stated in Kyiv.
The National Security and Defense Council also reported that, according to operational data, the leaders of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation instructed agricultural enterprises and farmers to complete harvesting in the fields located in the border strip by August 3.
As Navigator reported, Ukrainian border guards previously stated that the Russian military was setting up firing positions for Grads near the border.
