Russian TV will show a sensational investigation into the shootings on the Maidan
The TV channel “Russia 24” prepared the film “Maidan. Revolution technology” for the anniversary of the events in Kyiv. According to the author of the investigation, Anna Afanasyeva, she tried to meet with people from the list compiled by ex-People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleg Tsarev back in November 2013.

“There were many Georgians on this list of people whom Tsarev accused of preparing a coup. We met with Giorgi Vashadze. We had an extremely frank dialogue with him. We met with the Serbian revolutionary Marko Ivkovic and the Lithuanian Audrius Butkevicius,” Afanasyeva said today at a press conference in Moscow.
According to her, Canadian political scientist Ivan Kachanovsky agreed to meet with Russian journalists only because the Western ones did not turn to him for comment, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“He suggests that the shooting began not at 7 a.m. with the shooting of protesters, but two hours earlier. And it is likely that the first victims were Berkut fighters. The black company appeared when most of the protesters had already received injuries, including fatal ones.
He also wonders why most of the activists who marched with shields arrived at the Maidan shortly before these events. Some ended up there literally the day before. He also asks the logical question why there were no opposition leaders among the victims,” Afanasyeva said.
