Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus baffle NATO - Kasyanov
If tactical nuclear weapons are used in Ukraine from Belarus, neither NATO nor the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to respond.
Ukrainian volunteer Yuri Kasyanov, who supplies drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kasyanov, a preventive strike by a “drone army” on objects on the territory of Belarus could prevent such a scenario.
“Putin threatens with an atomic bomb for a reason. I think his threats may well materialize. Because why can he threaten? To bring us, the West, to the negotiating table on its own terms. Imagine a situation where he deploys tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus - there are already carriers there.
And at some point, Lukashenko passes this button on and Lukashenko applies it to Ukraine. And, it seems, it is not applied according to NATO, and, it seems, not Russia. Such ambiguity arises - and NATO cannot answer, and if Ukraine answers, it will be about Belarus, not about Russia,” the volunteer said.
“This is a complex chess game that the Kremlin dwarf is trying to play, and it must be taken seriously. At least in the short period of time when these weapons appear in Belarus, we will definitely not have time to create an army of drones of hundreds of thousands of devices that will be able to fend off this threat...
In principle, drones could have long ago destroyed all military installations on the territory of Belarus if there had been the will of our leadership, and all the residences of Alexander Grigorievich along with him,” Kasyanov said.
