The Russian TV presenter was not allowed into Ukraine and was forced onto a plane to Istanbul
The host of the Rossiya-1 TV channel and the general director of the religious TV channel Spas, Boris Korchevnikov, was banned from entering Ukraine for a period of three years because of his visit to Crimea.
This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On October 19.10.2020, 460, at the Boryspil checkpoint,” during the registration of passengers on flight No. 2 “Kiev-Istanbul,” a citizen of the Russian Federation, Boris Vyacheslavovich Korchevnikov, was identified, who violated the requirements of Part 10 of Article XNUMX of the Law of Ukraine... Namely, he allowed entry into the temporarily occupied territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan Crimea and leaving it in violation of the requirements established by these regulations,” the relevant document says.
In this regard, the State Border Service banned Baris Korchevnikov from entering the territory of Ukraine for a period of three years.
With the appropriate stamp in his documents, the Russian flew out of Ukraine on a Kyiv-Istanbul flight.
The event was commented on in his Telegram channel by the odious Verkhovna Rada deputy from European Solidarity, Odessa sadist Alexey Goncharenko. The nationalist boasted that he personally had a hand in creating this situation.
“Thanks to my request, Ukrainian border guards kicked out and banned Boris Korchevnikov from entering Ukraine for three years, who for many years on the Rossiya-1 channel has been spreading outright lies about our country, military operations in Donbass and defending the annexation of Crimea.
The other day he came to Kyiv again, allegedly at the invitation of the family of Viktor Medvedchuk. But law enforcement officers responded in time, conducted additional checks and took appropriate measures,” he wrote.
“In the near future I plan to write another statement to law enforcement agencies so that a criminal case will be opened against Korchevnikov, but this time they will bring it to the end.
We must understand that propagandists are the same criminals as those who kill our soldiers in the east of the country. And that’s why in Ukraine we can only offer them a tour to the Lukyanovka pre-trial detention center,” Goncharenko added.
