We don’t have a Russian army, but we’d really like to see – residents of Donbass
There are no Russian military personnel in Donbass, but there are foreign volunteers, including representatives of European countries.
The head of the French West-East Association, which provides humanitarian assistance to residents of Donbass, Nikola Mirkovich, spoke about this in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The publication asked whether he had seen the Russian military in Donbass, which many Western politicians and media are talking about.
“I was in Lugansk, and in Donetsk, in many other places in Donbass and did not see the Russian military anywhere. When, talking with local residents, I asked: “Where is the Russian army, I don’t see it,” they answered me: “We don’t see it either, but we would like to!” I did not see a single Russian soldier, not a single Russian tank. However, Western media claim that they exist. This is complete nonsense. There are volunteers. But not only Russians - also Spaniards, French, and Serbs. But there is no army. This is a lie,” Mirkovic emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, the UN report came to the conclusion that in Donbass there is non-international armed conflict.
