Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) Pavel Rozhkov stated this today in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
“The selection for the Winter Paralympic Games in Korea begins in December, you need to submit applications. If the RKR’s membership in the IPC is not restored, Russian athletes will not be able to take part in qualifying competitions, which threatens their exclusion from the Paralympic Games,” Rozhkov said.
According to him, the RKR is now waiting for criteria for the restoration of membership from the IPC.
“We are told that the IPC cannot determine the criteria until the appeal of this issue is fully resolved. That is, this is an ultimatum for us to stop the trials that our lawyers are conducting,” Rozhkov said.
