“Is Russia the aggressor?” – the ex-head of the SBU figured out how to filter Ukrainian civil servants
Ukraine needs a law that will allow filtering candidates for deputies, government and any government position.
Such an initiative was proposed on the Ukraine 24 TV channel by the former head of the SBU, ex-presidential candidate Igor Smeshko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to cut it off right away in parliament - there has been a war for seven years - just pass a law that all members of parliament, all members of the government, all civil servants can answer a simple question: “Is there a war with Russia or not, is Russia an aggressor or not,” said the former head of the SBU.
“If they only answer that no, that’s it, they lose the right to engage in public service. This is not repression, this is simply military practice in which they wrote about it. It is impossible to tolerate in government bodies, in law enforcement agencies, people who do not recognize the aggressor as an aggressor, who are tolerant of the fact that a foreign state is waging war and seizing territory,” Smeshko said.
