Kyiv, January 26 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Russia will recognize educational diplomas issued in the DPR and LPR. Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education Vyacheslav Nikonov stated this on the air of the talk show “Sunday Evening”.

According to him, graduates of Donetsk and Lugansk universities will also receive Russian-style diplomas.

“Russia, for its part, will do everything to ensure that educational documents issued by the authorities of the DPR and LPR are recognized, at least in the Russian Federation. This applies to school certificates. As for graduates of vocational schools and universities, there will be a program related to the possibility of receiving, simultaneously with diplomas from the DPR and LPR, diplomas from Russian universities through a double diploma program, through externships, and network forms of education,” Nikonov noted.
