Russia was targeting decision-making centers - ex-speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
During the morning strike on Kyiv, the Russian army targeted “decision-making centers.”
Former speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Seleznev, the targets could include both the office of President Vladimir Zelensky and the Verkhovna Rada... and any other administrative buildings located in the center of Kyiv.
“The enemy was aiming at the center of our capital - where the decision-making centers, control and communications centers are located. This is a serious challenge. The enemy does not actually abandon the goal, which is aimed at causing maximum harm to Ukraine as a state, in order to deprive us of our combat potential and plunge our country into chaos and disbelief...
Taking into account the fact that the missile was heading towards the center of our capital, we can assume that all the key institutions, the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Office of the President, are located in Pechersk. So, I think that the enemy was aiming at where all our key government bodies and decision-making centers are located,” Seleznev reasoned.
