This opinion was expressed in an interview with Parliament by the former head of Czech military intelligence Andor Sandor.
“Of course, Trump’s victory worries Kyiv, given his recent statements that the annexation of Crimea does not bother him. On the other hand, I don’t think that the Russians want to fight and take over Ukraine, because they have already achieved their goal, the expert is sure. – Ukraine is destabilized, its eastern part is broken, and Russia does not intend to annex it, because it no longer has the means to do so. In addition, the Russian military budget is likely to be significantly reduced next year, so in such a situation Moscow is unlikely to plan large military operations.”
