The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, wrote about this on his social network page the day before.

According to his information, the agreement provides for the transit of electricity to Crimea and was signed for a year.

“Today a contract in the energy sector has been concluded with one of the Ukrainian companies, within the framework of which the Russian Federation provides for the supply of 1500 MW daily to the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, the second agreement regulates the supply of electricity to Crimea in full without any restrictions,” Aksenov said.

The agreement is valid until January 1, 2016. During this time, according to Aksenov, Crimea will be able to resolve issues with electricity generation.
