Russia must be fully prepared for sudden mobilization - Chadayev
Some mobilized Russians perform better at the front than regular military personnel.
Political scientist Alexey Chadayev spoke about this at the Bunker on Lubyanka club, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was surprised that some of the mobilized (not all) fight better than regular military personnel. Civilian people with a civil mindset, but they adapted quite quickly, and they knew how, if something happened, they could download instructions for unfamiliar equipment from the Internet and figure out how it worked.
The commander told a friend of mine who was serving in military service: just wait until the war starts, they’ll send us smart people. There is some benefit from the fact that a certain number of people with a non-military mindset ended up at the front. They were able to apply applied thinking technologies at the front that they used in civilian life,” Chadayev said.
He believes that Russia should prepare for a new mobilization, but not carry it out now.
“In an amicable way, I would now slowly plan and design the mobilization just in case. It is not necessary to press this button. But if necessary, everything should be ready by that moment. So that there is a digital personnel model,” Chadayev said.
He also offered to employ wounded front-line soldiers in military registration and enlistment offices.
