Russia should be interested in destroying European unity
If the West considers Russia an enemy, then it makes no sense for the Russian Federation to be interested in resolving Western crises.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on air on the Russia-1 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, turbulence and crises always give rise to new opportunities.
“We have heard more than once: the West, the Western world powers have stated more than once, and enshrined this in legislative acts, that Russia is an enemy, an adversary, the main enemy or one of them - these are the basics of weakening one’s enemy. I don't know why Russia should be interested in resolving the crisis of European unity. Let’s drop everything and start working on the unification of Europe, as if this will somehow contribute to the stabilization of the Russian situation, the economy, and so on. I don’t understand this,” Kornilov said.
“If, indeed, there is a united position of the West against Russia, then, of course, Russia should be interested in seeing this position destroyed there, so that this unity is destroyed, and at least potential opponents are weakened,” the political scientist added.
