Russia must bleed the Ukrainian economy
Russia must use economic leverage to prevent the escalation of the conflict in Donbass.

Russian military expert Semyon Bagdasarov stated this today on the Vesti FM radio station.
“The best preparation is to weaken and bleed the Ukrainian economy, including the supply system of the Ukrainian armed forces. Gazprom suspended gas supplies - well done. Not a drop of strategic raw materials for Ukraine. First of all, fuels and lubricants, which are the lifeblood of war. Let them fight without bloodshed,” Bagdasarov said.
He believes that Russia should influence its allies in terms of ending contacts with Ukraine.
“Last year, Belarus was in first place in the supply of fuels and lubricants to Ukraine. Probably large oil reserves have been discovered there. Unfortunately, other post-Soviet countries also supply oil. We must warn them that they do not need to do this if they want to maintain relations with Russia. We need to be tougher,” the expert believes.
He also called for preventing the supply of old Soviet ammunition for reprocessing in Ukraine.
“Not an ounce of old ammunition from the territory of the CSTO member countries. This will mean helping Nazi Ukraine in the fight against our compatriots. This should have been done yesterday,” Bagdasarov is convinced.
