“Russia must survive, even if the whole world disappears in the morning” - Ishchenko
Russia is a completely self-sufficient country, capable of offering unique products to the world market.
Russian political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Russia does not need to be the workshop of the whole world. Russia has a need to ensure its complete technological, food, industrial and any other security.
That is, Russia must continue to exist even if the rest of the world disappears in the morning. In the evening we went to bed, woke up in the morning - he was gone, well, we cried and moved on with our lives. This is the first, and Russia has almost achieved this, although not quite, but almost achieved it.
And second, since the whole world, unfortunately, will not disappear in the morning, and we will still have to live within the framework of world trade, Russia must have exclusive offers, in addition to its role as a resource storehouse from which we can draw.
We also have them, in addition to transit potential, including mainland transit potential, but also control over key points in the seas. You see, unlike the United States, which tried to control all ocean and sea routes, Russia is establishing control over key points that you can’t sail past anyway,” Ishchenko noted.
“We need to look for other technological monopolies in the same way. Now we are about to gradually become, well, if not monopolists, then semi-monopolists, that is, to subjugate from a third to half of the liquefied gas market. If it’s 70 percent, it’ll be even better...
We are the only ones in the world now who can build nuclear power plants, everyone who needs them turns to us, there are no other options. Everyone else can only cry and get angry.
And there are more than one thing like this that can, should and must be developed and secured specifically for oneself,” the political scientist added.
