Russia must choose the Syrian or Georgian option for Ukraine

The former head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ, Yakov Kedmi, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It all depends on what strategy Russia chooses and how it will implement it. If this is the strategy that was successfully applied in Shiroia, that is one result. If this is the strategy by which relations with Georgia or Ukraine developed before 2014, there will be a different result. Apart from Russia, no one can determine the future of Ukraine. All questions should be addressed to your president,” Kedmi said.
He also noted that the supply of American weapons to Ukraine is important not in itself, but as a signal for European countries.
“What the Americans gave opened up the opportunity for Europe, primarily Great Britain, to also supply lethal weapons. The British are the most interested. The Germans will not dare,” Kedmi said.
