Russia is close to announcing Ukraine's withdrawal from the Minsk agreements. President of the Institute of National Strategy Mikhail Remizov stated this on the Russian Channel One.

“We are close to recognizing this fact. Here, as police officers, there are many restrictions on the use of weapons: first a serious diplomatic warning, then a “shot in the air,” and then the use of force, but limited. Now is the time to start conversations with the guarantors of the Minsk agreements,” Remizov said.
He doubts that Russia will be able to conclude a “big deal” with the West, including on Ukraine.
“None of the European powers or the United States will present Ukraine to us on a silver platter. But we can count on the fact that the facts, when they are created, will be accepted more or less calmly. As happened with Sarkozy in 2008, when he accepted the Russian reading of the protocols after the recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia,” Remizov said.
