Russia is ready to officially enter the front line in Donbass
The Russian Federation has extensive experience in assisting other countries in demining territories, and is ready, if necessary, to apply it in the Donbass.
Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated this during a UN meeting in honor of the anniversary of the signing of the Minsk agreements, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It was mentioned that Russia refuses to clear its territory (Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics - approx. ed.). Russia is involved in mine clearance in many countries: Syria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh.
We are ready to help if the Ukrainian authorities ask us to do so, but we cannot clear anything on the contact line where we are not present,” Nebenzya noted.
Let us recall that earlier the Kiev delegation at the TCG negotiations on Donbass tried to present Ukrainian militant who was blown up by a mine as a victim of sniper fire from the defenders of Donbass.
