“Russia will not act contrary to common sense. Pay for someone else's well-being at your own expense. We will not supply energy resources to those countries that limit their prices. Those who prefer cheating tricks and shameless blackmail instead of business partnerships and market mechanisms? I want to say that we will not act to our detriment. Keep this in mind,” Putin said.

He believes that limiting prices will cause uncontrolled price increases in the world, which will hurt the poorest countries.

“The neoliberal ideologists of the West already have experience of destruction; now they have taken up freedom of enterprise,” Putin said.
