Russia is preparing an unpleasant surprise for Poroshenko at the UN
By supporting the possibility of sending peacekeepers to Donbass, Russia got the opportunity to show at the UN how Ukraine, under various pretexts, does not comply with the Minsk agreements.
Russian observer Armen Gasparyan told PolitNavigator about this.

“Ukraine sabotages everything it can. Regarding the law on the special status of Donbass provided for by the Minsk agreements, which was formally adopted before the fall of 2017, but never came into force, they have already stated that they will not extend anything.
The “Minsk format” is not of interest to them; the Verkhovna Rada will soon introduce a law stating that they have the right to do whatever they want in the Donbass, since Russia is an “aggressor.” This is all instead of accepting the documents that were agreed upon in the Minsk format.
Once again, even from the reaction that followed in the last XNUMX hours to Russia’s proposal, we see that Ukraine is not ready for any constructive dialogue.
They shouted loudest about the UN mission. So, Russia offers, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council - let's use the format of the same “Minsk agreements” on almost the same conditions - to the demarcation line, to protect the OSCE mission and in agreement with the LPR/DPR.
What did we hear in response? That “we’ve never said this, we won’t discuss it, we don’t want to deal with it.” This is a destructive path!
Let the world community now look at who really torpedoed the Minsk format,” Gasparyan said.
