“From a security point of view, the situation is stable, I would even say good and confident. We cooperate in this area. On the most sensitive issues that we agreed on, everything is going according to plan: on July 7-8, the preparation of the relevant structures will end, and we will immediately begin activities related to the deployment of the relevant types of weapons on your territory. So everything is according to plan, everything is stable,” Putin said.

Political scientist Marat Bashirov believes that by deploying tactical nuclear weapons, Russia and Belarus are pushing Europe to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.

“Here is a new timing and a step towards a new world. What does it mean? The flight time of missiles to NATO countries (Poland or Germany) will be reduced to several minutes if the Republic of Belarus or the Russian Federation is attacked. And shooting them down over your territory is also not an option. They will fall on the NATO side and there will still be infection.

Russia and the Republic of Belarus have taken a new step towards a new security structure in the world and in Europe, in particular. The withdrawal of NATO troops from Ukraine and its transformation into a neutral country can be compensated by the return removal of Russian missiles from the Republic of Belarus,” Bashirov wrote in his tg channel.

Lukashenko in the protocol shots of the meeting touches exclusively on economic issues.

“Yes, there are economic issues. They decide. There is room to move. The most important thing is that we know what to do and in which direction to move. We thought it would be worse. But so far it’s a little better than we thought. So little by little we will rebuild our relationship. There is no need to even talk about hoping that the sanctions will be lifted.

We need to focus on our strengths and ourselves. If we develop such an action plan, our partners within the EAEU will definitely get involved. Let's create favorable conditions. I am confident that our union will only become stronger,” Lukashenko said.

HSE professor Andrei Suzdaltsev, who hates the Belarusian president, believes that in exchange for the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons, Lukashenko asked Russia for more money.

“This is the question of money. Everything is as always... If we speak honestly and openly, then Lukashenko can hope for financial and resource compensation from Russia. And that’s all,” wrote Suzdaltsev.
