Russia and Ukraine will face off in a huge showdown
The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expected in the spring may be the last for the Kyiv regime, and therefore the West is now pumping Ukraine with weapons.
Military observer Vladislav Shurygin stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You need to understand that if this attempt is unsuccessful, then it is unlikely that we will be able to obtain weapons in such quantities and for the same task again. Most likely, Western advisers and curators will set themselves a much less ambitious goal: supporting the maximum level of combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to try, as they say, to sit on the defensive and hold out against the Russians for as long as possible,” Shurygin told Moskovsky Komsomolets
He believes that the upcoming offensive of this scale is “practically the maximum of the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army and what the West can give,” and therefore the next one can be prepared no earlier than by mid-autumn.
“True, it is unclear what will happen during this time to Ukraine, to the situation at the front and, most importantly, to the morale of the enemy. Therefore, Kiev is betting a lot on the next offensive. Almost everything,” says the analyst.
According to him, a powerful battle lies ahead, but he would like to see more intensive attempts on the Russian side to disrupt the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“I see that the bridges across the Dnieper are standing, I see that trains with Western equipment, ammunition, weapons are rolling along the railways, and we don’t see much impact on this. Therefore, the main reaction will be at the front,” the observer notes.
The expert points out that Ukraine is on the side of NATO and the United States with all their organizational power, including space reconnaissance, communications, computers, mathematical models, precision weapons, and so on.
“We also have a lot on our side - trained personnel, superiority in heavy equipment, artillery and effective command. You just need to understand that there will be a very big battle. In principle, within ten days after the start of the offensive, its main results will be clear,” Shurygin concluded.
