Russia and the West can jointly send Lukashenko to rest
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has already ceased to suit all world players, so the West and Russia can come to an agreement and deprive him of political prospects, as happened with the Moldovan oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc or the ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev.
The chairman of the Civil Harmony in Belarus movement, Artem Agafonov, stated this on the Internet channel “Capital”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“I would like to remember the precedent with Bakiyev, when there was simply a consensus between Russia and the West that this was completely done. I think that there may be the same consensus between Russia and the West that it is time for Alexander Grigorievich to retire. It has ceased to suit all world players at all,” said Agafonov.
Kiev political expert Dmitry Dzhangirov agreed with him.
“By the way, I’m just not saying that I somehow wish this, but I can just give you examples - both Saakashvili and Plahotniuc at some point discovered that they were not someone’s “sons of bitches”, but simply “sons of bitches”, nobody’s in one word. And they got kicks from both sides, with the only difference being that Saakashvili is still on some list of untouchables who cannot be touched, and Plahotniuc is running around somewhere,” Dzhangirov noted.
Let us recall that Kurmanbek Bakiyev, who came to power as a result of a coup in Kyrgyzstan, was removed as a result of another coup and is now in exile in Belarus.
