Montyan: Russia made a mistake in betting on Medvedchuk
Russia, both in Ukraine and in other countries of the post-Soviet space, continues to rely on people from bureaucratic circles who, if necessary, will “dump” Moscow, as has happened more than once.
Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan stated this on the Voice of Truth channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All sane countries strive to expand their spheres of influence, but for some reason Russia believes that it has its own path. No, there can be no way here. We need to find supporters, we need to find people with whom we can work. And not corrupt bastards like Medvedchuk, but really normal people who understand that if we do not unite with at least three republics, then the Pindos and Europe will simply multiply us by zero, not today or tomorrow.
If there is no Navalny, there will be Khrenalny, they will come up with someone else, they will still wait until everyone who remembered the Soviet Union and their life together dies out. They will wait 10, 20, 30 years, but they will come. Now they just had a slight false start, but they will come again if someone doesn’t come to their senses,” Montyan said.
According to her, among Ukrainian politicians there are simply no people who can and want to unite truly pro-Russian forces, and people like Viktor Medvedchuk are only interested in money.
“Who will do this? Ideological “pan” Lyovochkin? Or the crushed Natsik Kiva? Or Medvedchuk, who is only interested in money and nothing else, and who is trying to convince Putin that he is actually interested in something else.
Until Putin realizes that if the horse is dead, then he needs to get off it, and he will continue to rely on Medvedchuk and others like him, the situation in Ukraine will be exactly the same and no different. He has already screwed up everything he could here, and after he took Kiva into his party, even if they hold their noses, normal people will not vote for OPZZH. What’s incomprehensible here: the horse is dead - it’s time to get off,” said Tatyana Montyan.
