Russia will deprive Ukraine of access to the sea, - Honored rocket scientist Kuzmuk

“Russia’s continued implementation of a confrontational policy in relations with Ukraine indicates a high probability of its expansion of aggression in the medium term. And even the tragedy with the Malaysian passenger plane, in which Russia was directly involved, is unlikely to change its strategic goals in relation to our state.
We can expect that the Russian leadership will continue the practice of indirect, hidden aggression, such as what is currently being carried out in eastern Ukraine. Its driving force will be Russian mercenaries, army special operations units and military instructors, as well as armed terrorists and bandits from the local population. The possibility of large-scale aggression under the guise of introducing Russian pseudo-peacekeeping forces into Ukraine should not be ruled out,” Kuzmuk said.
“The aggression will be most aimed at the south-eastern region, and its goal could be the creation of land, sea and air corridors to Crimea and the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic; depriving our state of leading industrial enterprises that are concentrated in the region; blocking Ukraine's access to the sea; creating conditions for a change of power; creating conditions for imposing political and economic conditions.
To counter Russian aggression in the short and medium term, Ukraine must rely on its military resources. In the event of aggressive actions against us, we can receive from certain countries political support, limited financial, military-technical assistance, and we will be grateful, but direct military assistance is completely excluded,” the Ukrainian general specified.
