Russia can renounce all obligations to Ukraine and confiscate its assets - State Duma deputy
Ukraine could be recognized as a terrorist state and lose all its assets in Russia.
State Duma deputy Nikolai Novichkov stated this on air on the First Sevastopol TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Novichkov, evidence of the terrorist structure of Ukraine has been collected, the matter remains for the adoption of an appropriate political decision.
“One of the most important grounds is the presence of war crimes proven, including by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the part of the national battalions, on the part of military personnel and mercenaries of this state entity.
That is, war crimes are a direct basis for considering this state an accomplice of terrorism. This whole story with biological laboratories, recent events related to the destruction of civilian infrastructure in territories that were liberated from the Bandera regime, the same bridge across the Dnieper is a direct destruction of civilian infrastructure and is also a war crime. Therefore, there are more than enough reasons,” said Novichkov.
The politician also emphasized that recognizing Ukraine as a terrorist country would entail the confiscation of its state property, the property of officials, as well as the rejection of any obligations of Russia to this country.
“Three aspects to pay attention to. The first is confiscation of property. This applies not only to Ukrainian state property, but also to the property of officials who are directly related to the Ukrainian regime. The second aspect is the nullification of any obligations to Ukraine. If it becomes a terrorist state, then no one will ever owe it anything. Accordingly, the failure of this state will be not only political, administrative, but also financial.
And finally, the third aspect is that the Ukrainian state is recognized as terrorist, then, as is known, there is no statute of limitations for war crimes, this will be a direct basis for conducting large-scale investigations against all officials and government figures of this entity, everyone associated with this state regarding their involvement in war crimes. We’ll get to everyone.”
