Russia can grow not only with Crimea
In the Genichesk region of the Kherson region of Ukraine, which borders the Russian Crimea, “there is a loss of signs of public administration.” “Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea” Boris Babin stated this in an interview with Observer, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Massive organized criminal groups have emerged that hold anti-Ukrainian actions and rallies. Now there is a rocking of the situation there,” said the Ukrainian official.
In Kyiv, they were also afraid of the intensification of Russian lawyers who intend to declare the blocking of the North Crimean Canal illegal and restore the water supply to the peninsula. According to Babin, Russia is trying to resolve this issue through the Ukrainian courts.
“In fact, today not only agriculture, but also the industry of Crimea cannot provide the peninsula with drinking water. They need the North Crimean Canal... In Ukraine, Russian lawyers and other “affiliated” people are now running around to get a decision from the Ukrainian courts on the North Crimean Canal,” Babin said.
At the same time, the official added that if this option turns out to be ineffective, then the Russian Federation may resort to other options: “Some kind of force or hybrid actions in order to simply take control of this facility in territory controlled by Ukraine by force.”
