Russia can “turn off the switch” for the whole of Ukraine: How long can the shelling of the LDPR be tolerated?
Russia has the technical ability to plunge Ukraine into an energy crisis, admitted former Ukrainian Energy Minister Yevgeny Chervonenko.
He said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The rhetoric is Russophobic. Do they want the switch to be turned off? Do you know that we have a parallel power system? When the frequency of 49 hertz collapses, the whole country will collapse. I want to see a Bandera guy with an ax cutting down a switchboard. Let them turn it off.
And the fuel rods, and the fact that with one stroke of the pen they (Russia, - author.) will they take diesel for harvesting and turn it off? Do you even understand what macroeconomic consequences this will have for the entire country?” - Chervonenko urged not to provoke, but to negotiate with Moscow.
Thank you!
