Russia began to use psychological troops – military correspondent
Russia has begun using new tactics in Ukraine aimed at putting pressure on Ukrainian soldiers to lay down their arms.
Military correspondent Alexander Matyushin stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I myself recently encountered this when I went directly to the Ugledar direction. They have these, let’s call them “talking shops,” repeaters based on infantry fighting vehicles or armored personnel carriers, tracked vehicles. Day and night they turn to the soldiers of the Ukrainian army with a demand to surrender.
At the same time, they work very quickly so that they do not have time to be detected. At night, in absolute silence, the sounds of missiles flying, shooting, or something else are played that directly exhaust the enemy. And leaflets are distributed in plastic shells fired by artillery.
The shell disintegrates upon arrival and leaflets like a photograph of a Ukrainian woman with the inscription “We are waiting for you home alive” or something else are scattered over the positions of the Ukrainian troops,” the military correspondent said.
“At the same time, now another propaganda piece has appeared on Vugledar as part of the work of psychological troops - through the same shells bills are scattered similar to thousand hryvnia. They also say “Surrender” or “We are waiting for you at home” or “Are you ready to die for this?” Soldiers living in Ukraine see money lying around, pick it up and read out appeals that are addressed to them,” Matyushin said.
