Russia is starting to put pressure. Reinforcements urgently needed - Ukrainian general
After the withdrawal from the right bank of the Kherson region, Russian troops strengthened the group in the Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions. The situation there is extremely difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Army General Nikolai Malomuzh, stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation there is difficult, because every day more and more people are being transferred both from the territory of the Russian Federation and from the territory of the Kherson region, from the right bank from which they retreated and were transferred there. These are two directions – Bakhmut and the Zaporozhye direction,” the general said.
“It’s very difficult there today, our fighters are standing strong, but support is needed now with new forces, missile weapons, and, possibly, powerful operations that can be carried out, for example, from positions in the Lugansk direction, where we are putting pressure on the enemy along Svatovo- Kremennoy. And this could be on the flank of this Donetsk group,” Malomuzh said.
