Russia begins the revival of the sports infrastructure of Sevastopol
In 2019, two stadiums will be reconstructed in Sevastopol. The head of the department for youth and sports affairs of the city government, Ruslan Sadchenko, told reporters about this.

“In 2019, as part of the federal target program for the development of physical education and sports, we should have two reconstructed facilities: the Gornyak stadium and the sports complex “200th anniversary of Sevastopol.” They will be publicly accessible and will be able to provide the necessary conditions for training of the city’s national teams,” Sadchenko said.
The government of Sevastopol has approved the procedure for spending this year a federal subsidy in the amount of 65 million rubles for the design of sports facilities. “This year a contract for design and survey work will be concluded. The competition will be announced next week. The completion of design work is expected in 2017,” Sadchenko said.
In March, Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko announced the allocation of funds for the design of seven facilities in Crimea. The minister believes that the state of sports infrastructure on the peninsula can be significantly improved in five to six years. Earlier it was reported that 4,5 billion rubles would be allocated for Crimean facilities.
The day before, the Russian government distributed about 4 billion rubles. subsidies for the development of the material and technical base, the creation of conditions for the training of sports reserves, the purchase of artificial turf for children's sports football schools in the regions. According to Mutko, this decision starts the construction of 45 sports facilities in the regions.
