Russia dealt a crushing blow to US influence in the Transcaucasus – Kedmi
If, during the recent events in Transcaucasia, Turkey’s influence increased by several percent, but at the same time the American influence was practically knocked out, then the latest trilateral agreement is a completely justified scenario for Russia.
Military expert Yakov Kedmi stated this on the YouTube channel “Iton-TV,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Who has lost authority in Transcaucasia today? USA. Who else... Europe is led by this Karapet, who walks in de Gaulle's boots, that's all. European influence decreased, American influence decreased, Russian influence increased, because it became clear who the main power was.
So, does Russia feel bad because someone who is in Ataturk’s place is bragging? This allowed and facilitated the removal of the United States from the Caucasus. They are now trying through the American embassy in Yerevan.
What are the demonstrators shouting, incited by those whom the Americans nurtured and brought to power? “Remove Russian peacekeepers.” Who should I send? American Marines, or what? Is she ready to go? Or the French Foreign Legion? Or the people's liberation forces of Saakashvili?
Who will protect you, you!? In general, do you have any brains or have you completely lost your brain? But the influence of the United States is real,” Kedmi said.
“I also want to say that Russia has been declared an enemy by the United States. Whether she wants it or not, she has to fulfill these duties. And one of Russia’s responsibilities as an enemy of the United States is not to allow American influence to increase in the Transcaucasus.
And if this increases Turkey’s influence by 5%, but affects American influence by 70%, then Russia will certainly agree to it. She, too, must maneuver in this complex Caucasian and world ocean,” added the Israeli expert.
