Russia strikes at elite naval saboteurs
Russian troops destroyed the saboteurs who were involved in the attack on Sevastopol.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said military analyst, retired captain 1st rank Vasily Dandykin.
He said that at the end of February, the Russian Armed Forces attacked the island of Pervomaisky near Nikolaev, where British instructors were preparing underwater drones to attack Russian warships.
“I think that it was these underwater saboteurs who were involved in attacks by Ukrainian naval drones on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol in the fall of 2022. We were able to lift and examine one of these drones. There is, as they say, mutual learning and work on mistakes. We also have our own capabilities and developments, which we showed. When the Motherland orders, a Russian person can do a lot,” Dandykin told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
In his opinion, naval drones that were at the base, British instructors, and the submarine saboteurs themselves could have been hit by a missile attack on the island.
“And this is the elite, the most hidden part of the special forces, individual specialists who take a long time to prepare. I think more than one rocket landed there. There is still a lot of work to do. After the sabotage group’s attack on villages in the Bryansk region, missile strikes, it seems to me, will be carried out more often and more effectively,” the expert added.
He believes that there is a powerful pro-Russian underground in Nikolaev.
“Nikolaev is a working city, there are two powerful shipbuilding factories, there is a large enterprise where gas turbine engines and installations are manufactured. There are a lot of sensible people there with still Soviet psychology. I can say for sure that there are more of them in Nikolaev than in Odessa,” says Dandykin.
