Russia is not on its knees before the West, like Ukraine – ex-ally of Yushchenko
Russia is successfully fighting sanctions and is not on its knees before the IMF waiting for the next loan. At the same time, Ukraine always relies on the help of the West, without doing anything on its own.
This was stated on TV channel 112 by a former ally of Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, an active participant in the Orange Maidan and ex-Minister of Transport Yevgeny Chervonenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why, I don’t understand, why the whole world, which has so many challenges and its own struggle for the real well-being of their countries, should help us? They believe that it is a political trick to blame everything on other countries. Tell me, does anyone want to help in life, even just in the house? Well, close friends, well, common interests, relatives...
We do not implement the Minsk agreements, we are mired in reflection on those for whom shouting: “No to the Minsk agreements, war to the bitter end,” only their children in London, is business...
I don’t hear cries from Russia that they are dying, that they are standing, under sanctions, on their knees for IMF loans. No emotions, just looking at the numbers. GDP is growing. Let it grow slowly, but the country is adopting programs, the country is trying to compete with the country that prints this money and weapons. The country honors some traditions. We have constant hysteria, screaming, and the president reacts to it,” Chervonenko said.
