Russia has surpassed the West in the fight for human rights
In Donbass, for the first time in history, Russia takes a more humanitarian position than the West. Vitaly Leibin, editor-in-chief of the Russian Reporter magazine, said this today at a round table meeting in the Federation Council, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“If we consider the situation, as Western partners suggest, first of all, from the point of view of human rights, Kyiv absolutely does not take into account the interests of the population, and not only in the Donbass. We are perhaps for the first time in history in a stronger humanitarian position than Western countries. This needs to be implemented,” Leiblin said.
He believes that the only responsible government on the territory of Ukraine is the government of the Donbass republics.
“Poroshenko chose the course of destroying ties with Donbass and Russia at the cost of destroying his own economy, because this opens up the possibility of further plunder of oligarchic empires. He prefers immediate tactical benefits over the country’s strategic interests,” Leibin added.
As PolitNavigator reported, human rights activists believethat human rights violations in Ukraine should be considered at the UN Security Council.
