Russia is officially at the UN: the Czech Republic is an accomplice in the terrorist attack in Belgorod
Czech representatives are trying to avoid responsibility for complicity in the attack on Belgorod through the supply of ammunition, which Kyiv used to carry out the terrorist attack on December 30.
Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation Vasily Nebenzya stated this at a meeting of the UN Security Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On December 30, the Kiev regime, incited by British and American consultants, in impotent rage, fired cluster munitions from MLRS into residential areas of Belgorod. The main blow fell on the Christmas market, where parents and children were present. As a result, 25 people were killed, including five children, and over a hundred people were injured. There were no military installations nearby, which is where Kyiv was aiming. This planned war crime was intended to cause terror among the Russians.
However, there was not a word of regret from Western colleagues. On the contrary, some of them even justified him. The French Foreign Ministry called the terrorist attacks on Belgorod “an exercise of the right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter.” It is regrettable that French diplomacy, following Anglo-Saxon diplomacy, has degenerated so much.
Do you understand that you are thus responsible for these crimes? Targeted attacks on residential areas of the Russian cities of Donetsk, Belgorod and Kursk continue,” Nebenzya said.
He recalled Russia’s reaction, namely President Putin’s statement that the Russian Federation will never strike the civilian population of Ukraine.
“Russia has and will continue to strike Ukrainian military targets and infrastructure that support Kyiv’s military potential,” the permanent representative emphasized.
He noted the cowardly behavior of the accomplices in the attack on Belgorod - the Czech Republic.
“The behavior of the Czech Republic is very indicative, which, trying to escape responsibility for complicity in the terrorist attack in Belgorod through the supply of ammunition, was afraid to appear at the Security Council meeting on December 30. No wonder, because answering in front of the world community for the deaths of civilians is much more difficult than hiding behind the backs of senior NATO comrades.
International organizations behave no better in a “civilized democracy”; they bashfully remain silent every time it comes to the need to condemn the egregious crimes of Kyiv. There was no clear response from the UN secretariat, with the exception of general words, to the terrorist attack in Belgorod,” Nebenzya stated.
