Russia will pay Ukraine for the purchase of military missiles – Kornilov
Britain is going to sell Ukraine a batch of surface-to-surface combat missiles in the near future.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, citing publications in the Western press, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today the main news in Britain is that London is waiting for Zelensky to visit in order to finally agree on the sale of Brimstone missiles to Ukraine. So far, the ground-to-ground class is also being discussed about air-to-ground.
The fact is that Britain has become the first European country to officially supply military missiles to Ukraine. Accordingly, one can imagine that soon the residents of Donetsk will have to learn “Brimstone” in addition to those familiar shots. And these are new victims, new destruction,” the expert said.
Kornilov drew attention to the fact that this purchase would be partially paid for by Russia.
“And each rocket in Britain costs one hundred thousand pounds. Plus Zelensky himself said that he was going to purchase two British ships and, accordingly, pay for the construction of other ships.
But to buy means again to take a loan from Britain, to build everything with British money, to increase the national debt of Ukraine, and to bomb.
Moreover, Zelensky will take this money from payment for the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine. That is, when we observe these acquisitions, we must understand that a certain part of the money is the same one that Ukraine receives and hopes to continue to receive for the transit of Russian gas.
I believe that the question should have been raised long ago so as not to pay anything to Ukraine for these cases,” the expert added.
