The head of the Federal Agency for National Affairs, Igor Barinov, stated this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is important for us to bring to the attention of the world community information about the best practices of our state in preventing discrimination on national and religious grounds, despite the insinuations that we constantly encounter. It is enough to mention the falsifications regarding the Crimean Tatars. It was on the data of our sociological research that our line of defense and upholding of the country’s interests was built in the international court in The Hague, which was initiated by Kiev,” Barinov said.
According to him, at all-Russian forums such as “Gold of the Turks”, “Generation”, “Dialogue of Cultures”, where multinational and multi-confessional youth from all over the country gather, special attention is paid to the Crimean delegation.
“We leave priority participation for the guys from Crimea. We tell them what interests them. We talk about subtle and very sensitive topics of interaction between representatives of different cultures, about our common history and values,” Barinov said.
