US President Donald Trump will definitely sign the law on anti-Russian sanctions. The only intrigue is whether he will do it publicly or without PR hype.

Expert of the Russian International Affairs Council Ilya Kravchenko stated this on air on the Tsargrad TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Will he sign it beautifully, as is customary to sign such large-scale laws - on camera, in the Oval Office - or will he do it secretly. And then they will simply say that Trump signed it. He simply has no choice. Otherwise, he will confirm that he is for a softer course towards Russia. Then we would see a completely different political story associated with Trump,” Kravchenko said.
In his opinion, Russia was wrong about Trump, attributing to him some kind of independent position in foreign policy.
“Probably only we (Russia - ed.) believed that Trump had some kind of position of his own. But Trump the rhetorician and Trump the pragmatist are two different personalities. For now, he continues the foreign policy line of the previous administration without any hint that he has any position of his own,” Kravchenko said.
