Russia will bite off Ukrainian hand – Kyiv expert
The current Ukrainian government is mistaken in thinking that it is possible to make concessions to Russia in the Minsk process.
The director of the International Center for Countering Russian Propaganda, Yuri Kochevenko, stated this at a round table in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For the Russian Federation, any of our concessions or attempts at reconciliation will be only one of the steps towards their advance. At this stage they are not hiding it. It is enough to analyze the statements of Russian politicians over the last period for this to be obvious. Russia's goal is Ukraine's rejection of Euro-Atlantic integration. And at this stage – recognition of the annexation of Crimea. The issue of Crimea is generally bracketed in the Normandy format; this is the first stage.
