Russia will lift the ban on construction workers from Turkey
Russia will lift the ban on the work of Turkish citizens, introduced as a sanction against Ankara after the destruction of a Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft by the Turkish military.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this at a joint press conference with Turkish leader Recep Erdogan.

“Mr. President raised this issue today, including in relation to Turkish construction workers, for whom a ban on visas and work visas was introduced. We agreed today with Mr. President that this ban will be lifted. This will happen in the very near future, the issue is purely technical in nature after our agreement today,” Putin said.
However, Putin responded evasively regarding the proposal to cancel visas for Turkish citizens - as is known, Russia has security concerns.
“We will continue to resolve other issues related to liberalization. The interaction of special services is very important here in order to ensure security while filtering out persons who are undesirable in both territories,” Putin said.
