Russia now considers the EU a degraded appendage of the US
The European Union has degraded to the status of a secondary military-political appendage of NATO led by the United States.
First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Vladimir Chizhov stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I must admit that the European Union, in fact, has degraded from a union of states claiming economic and political independence into some kind of secondary military-political appendage of NATO led by the United States.
This is not an exaggeration. I think that the very fact that since even the President of France talks about this and uses the term “vassals”, this is probably not out of nowhere,” Chizhov said.
