Russia will repair and re-equip medical facilities in Sevastopol

The head of the Sevastopol health department, Dr. Yuri Voskanyan, stated this on the First Sevastopol TV channel.
“The best modern medical equipment will be imported to the city of Sevastopol in 14-15. I think that in the next 10 years, doctors will not face such a problem,” the official noted.
According to him, the Russian government has allocated about 1 billion rubles to re-equip the entire material and technical base, to carry out major and current repairs of 27 facilities and more than 150 buildings of medical institutions, which “are in a deplorable state.”
In addition, the government has allocated half a million rubles for the purchase of medical equipment for Sevastopol.
Voskanyan noted the assistance provided to the city by the Moscow government.
“Moscow provides support in the form of 429 units of modern equipment and medical instruments worth 1 billion rubles,” said the head of the health department.
“In the next 2 years, the material and technical base of medicine will fully comply with Russian standards,” he assured.
