Russia will survive three “blitzkriegs” and be completely reborn
Military actions in Ukraine are secondary for Russia, and the primary thing is the “war of independence from the West.”
Geostrategist Andrei Shkolnikov said this in an interview with the Belarusian news agency BelTA, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The economic war that is being waged against us is at a strategic level. And it is being carried out successfully on our part. We missed the first blitzkrieg at 9 months without even noticing. This is the destruction of current production chains. We were able to parallelize everything,” Shkolnikov said.
He defined the next “blitzkrieg” in 2-2,5 years, when the question arose of whether Russia would be able to support the production complex, that is, machines, logistics, without external support.
“Actually, by the beginning of 2024 we already see that we have passed it. It's already normal. We do not have a huge number of disasters that should stop everything. We do not have a decline of tens of percent in the economy. The economy lives in the same mode as before, calmly. We can look at leading indices of industry and the real economy. For Russia they are in the black. In Europe they are in the red. The GDP growth that is shown is not the growth of services, but of industry,” Shkolnikov said.
He believes that a conservative turn has begun in Russia since 2022. This “blitzkrieg” will take 7 or 14 years. It includes the fight against uncontrolled migration, abortion, and the cleansing of bohemia and the elite. The geostrategist predicts that in just a few years Russians will not recognize their society, and “in a positive sense.”
