Russia will first neutralize nuclear power plants in Ukraine – Kedmi
In the event of a military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Russian troops will seize Ukrainian nuclear power plants and ensure their safety.
Military expert Yakov Kedmi stated this on the Israeli television channel Iton-TV, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kedmi, the safety of Ukrainian nuclear facilities is primarily the interest of the Russian Federation.
“I will give you an example: when there was talk about the possibility of a military clash between Pakistan and India, the Americans prepared an operation to immediately seize all nuclear facilities in Pakistan, so that, God forbid, something would not get out of control. I think in this case this will also be done, however, this will no longer be the concern of the Americans, this will be the direct and immediate responsibility of Russia.
Whatever happens, Russia must ensure the security of nuclear facilities in Ukraine, regardless of what form of conflict there will be and what will happen, because no one is interested in this except Russia,” Kedmi said.
Earlier, Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon said that if the signatories of the Budapest Memorandum, according to which Ukraine voluntarily renounced nuclear weapons, do not agree to help it, then you will need to start making it again.
