Russia confirms diplomas of LDPR students
Russian assistance played a decisive role in preserving higher education in Donbass. The rector of the Lugansk National Agrarian University, Valentina Tkachenko, stated this today at the conference “Cultural Space of the Peoples of Russia and Donbass” in Moscow.
“The Russian Federation played a very important role, which confirmed the certificates and diplomas issued by our educational institutions. This is very important, because Ukraine began to insist that diplomas issued in the LPR are invalid, are not recognized by anyone, that these are wasted years at universities,” Tkachenko said.
According to her, a huge number of universities have agreed to issue Russian-style diplomas to Donbass students, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Universities from Voronezh to Kuban from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Crimea issue us diplomas. This is in addition to Ukrainian diplomas. They help ensure that higher education in the republics survives. There is nothing better for ideological education than an example of what Russia is doing for the LDPR,” Tkachenko said.
