Russia has completely banned the import of Ukrainian sweets
Moscow - Kyiv, September 5 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - Rospotrebnadzor has banned the import of all confectionery products from Ukraine into Russia, RBC cites a report from the department. The reason for the ban was violations that Rospotrebnadzor found in confectionery products produced by the Ukrainian companies Konti and AVK.

Rospotrebnazdor points to violations of legislative requirements in the field of consumer protection (“inconsistency with the requirements for product labeling”).

The ban on the import of Ukrainian confectionery products to Russia is not the first measure that has been taken in relation to Ukrainian products recently. At the end of July, Rospotrebnadzor banned the import into Russia of juices, Ukrainian vegetables, fruits, milk and dairy products produced in Ukraine, as well as canned fish. It is also prohibited to import beer and other alcoholic drinks and pork from Ukraine. In addition, Russia has banned the import of plant products from Ukraine in hand luggage and luggage. Then, in response, the Ukrainian authorities introduced a ban on the export of pork from Russia.
